I suspect that it would have the Apple A5 chip that the iPad 2 has, with Photo Booth as another biult-in app. I have also heard rumors that it will be in 3D (no glasses required) and it will be released on August 23, 2011. Is this true?

The iPod touch 5g will be unveiled and released around the beginning of September. Apple shows off their new line-up of iPods at their music event. So you’ll be able to buy it in early to mid September.
